How to deal with corporate stress

Now a days Work pressure and increased competition are the reason of stress for many people. its very important to manage the stress for personal and professional life.

here are a few suggestions that might help:-

Time management: Prioritize your tasks and create a schedule to manage your time effectively. Break down big tasks into smaller, more manageable ones.

Take breaks: It’s important to give yourself regular breaks throughout the workday. Taking breaks can help clear your mind and reduce stress.

Set realistic goals: Instead of trying to do everything at once, set achievable goals for yourself. Focus on what you can realistically accomplish, and don’t be too hard on yourself if you can’t do everything perfectly.

Prioritize and plan: Organize your tasks by creating a to-do list or using a planner. Prioritize your most important tasks and break them down into smaller, manageable steps.

Communicate and seek support: If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t hesitate to talk to your colleagues, supervisor, or HR department. Let them know about your challenges and see if there are any resources or accommodations available to help you manage stress.

Maintain a healthy work-life balance: Strive to maintain a balance between work and personal life. Engage in activities outside of work that you enjoy, such as hobbies, exercise, spending time with loved ones, or pursuing personal interests. Disconnecting from work during non-work hours can reduce stress and recharge your energy.

Practice self-care: Take care of your physical and mental well-being. Get enough sleep, eat nutritious meals, and engage in regular physical activity. Additionally, practice relaxation techniques like deep breathing, meditation, or mindfulness to help calm your mind and reduce stress.

Set boundaries: Learn to say no when you feel overwhelmed with additional tasks or responsibilities. Setting boundaries can help prevent you from taking on too much and becoming overly stressed.

Remember, everyone’s experience with corporate stress is unique, and it may take some trial and error to find the strategies that work best for you.

How to come out of Deppression

Dear Friends We all know life is full of ups and downs. But when we try to give our best with our hard work and sincerity and  things don’t come out the way we want. It results in disappointment and rejection. and sometimes we start feeling lost ……. so  the question is how to come out of this situation.  trust me if you follow these small tips ,it will make you feel better and help you start again with a new zeal. you just need to motivate yourself with simple steps :-

1) Read motivational topics or watch motivational movies trust me it helps a lot. my all time favorite movie  is “The persuit of happiness” I watched it  around 7 to 10 times till date not because I have not understood  😊 jokes apart .because it motivates to keep going through all the difficulties and reach the goal. I suggest you to watch . one more thing We all know below mentioned lines but hardly believe i.e

“Agar mann ka ho toh achcha ,Na ho toh aur bhi achcha kyuki  ishme upar waale ki marzi shaamil hoti hai and unhone kuch achcha plan kiya hoga ”

2) Smile In front of Mirror – I know “Smile doesn’t make things better but not even make things worse so keep smiling”  it is only a simple quote but it makes a big difference if we implement in our life. one more quote I like most is “use your smile to change the world don’t let the world change your smile “

3)Talk to your close ones- Please talk to your close ones it can be anyone your friends , family. sharing your feelings will not solve problems but help you to feel better.

4) Write and paste motivational lines on your wall or table and read it .

I know putting words are easier than action and somewhere we all know all the above tips but hardly follow. but  lets try again and smile……..

What career is perfect for me?

What career is perfect for me?

What career is best for me?” is a question that make most of us sweat and often takes our mind into hyper drive. Most of the time, our careers are preset by our parents and most of us walk the path to become what their parents have planned for them. But there are also who cannot decide which career is best for them. They bang their heads on walls trying to find out the answer, or try experimenting with different professions to find what they are best at. The result is that they either end up being frustrated or stuck in a profession that they would otherwise not even think of, had they had a choice.

In the memory of My Brother Surender Bahadur Singh

img-20161129-wa0000It has been more than a month now that my brother passed away, leaving us behind at an early age of 42 and today is his birthday 29th Dec.We cannot forget his loving and smiling face ever. He was the one who loved to bring a smile on others face,He was an obedient son of his parents and a very caring brother of three sisters. A husband of a beautiful wife and a very loving and caring father of two small children. He left us all on 23rd Nov 2016 after a fight with disease Gliblastoma. With tearful eyes we watched him passing away,we could not make him stay. Even money ,Prayer  and wishes of near and dear ones could not buy his life. His golden heart stopped beating.God broke our hearts which once again proves that he only takes the best one First.

if I talk about Family Life, he was a very good son.I rarely seen my brother siting in front of my father it was his respect towards him. He understood his responsibilities at an early age.For sisters,From education to our marriages He did everything.  He was a Guardian, friend, guide all in one. From childhood to adult we approached him for every little thing. He was always there for us. Infact after our marriage not a single week passed without having a good telephonic conversation with him.As I am the youngest, i always benefited the most. He loved all of us a lot, now we feel we did very little for him. He was perfect in all his relations.

In professional life he was very ambitious and creative. In short span of time, he started degree colleges and CBSE board school in village. I still remember someone asked him why you are opening English medium school in village and investing so much there, it will not work. He replied “I will give all the facilities similar to city in village so that people will not go to city for good education”. And in first year 450 students took admission.

Today he is no more with us. It’s very hard to accept. He will never know how much he’s missed. He will never know that our father who never showed his love to him, cries for him every day. he will never know that how his wife hide her tears and try to show herself strong in front of kids and others. He will never know that how much we all miss him.

You are the lovely brother i have adored you since i was small. I knew i could count on you, no matter what life sends to me. You always had time to listen to me and your actions always showed how much you cared.  Love you and miss you a lot dear brother. These words cannot express the feelings which we are having for you at the moment. Only we can feel what we have lost. I pray to the almighty god, May your soul rest in peace.

Basic Requirements to start a HR consultancy

I have gone through some of the comments and found some of the query like  i am a MBA in Hr  ,or I have experience in so and so …. can i start a Hr consultancy? My answer is yes you can . Anything is possible if you make up your mind and its well said that “Jahan chah hai waah Raah hai”  . See if you are planning to sell your skills as a service provider,  the first thing you need to know is how it works and gain the expertise on it. I have mentioned some of the points based on my experience  hope it helps you

The important requirements  to start a HR consultancy  are:-

1)   Complete knowledge of recruitment process.

2)   Ready for hard work and long working hours.

3)   Presentable and Good communication skills.

4)   Basic accounting knowledge.

5)   How to convert clients?

Complete knowledge of Recruitment Process

One should know the basics of recruitment process and should be aware of the current trends in recruitment process as it will be an advantage because here you will be selling your this skill in a form of product or service.

Ready for hard work and long working hour

We all know that hard work is the key to success. And when you start something new you need to give it more time to make it successful. Same implies here as you need to be ready for long working hours as recruitment takes time.

Presentable and Good communication skills

One should be presentable and should have very good communication skills as he has to sell the recruitment skills to clients in terms of service. So you need to make them believe that you have that skill which they are looking into their recruiting partner and for this good communication are required to convince them with good presentation.

Basic accounting knowledge

One should have basic accounting knowledge because you need to raise the invoices regularly for clearance of bills, once your candidate joins the organizations.

How to convert clients?

Client conversion is “an art of convincing“. When you become an expert in convincing you will get more clients. Here you have to sell your services and you have to convince that as a service provider that you are perfect to fulfill their requirements. There are a lot of ways by which you can convert clients which include regular meetings with clients, being active on social networking websites, posting your ads on professional networking websites.

If you don’t have these skills don’t worry. You can develop with your hard work and dedication over time. Remember ‘Rome was not built in a day. So be positive.

Be Positive and the world will be your’s…

“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

Positive attitude really help a person to face any situation I would like to add the story , One of the story goes like this….
Edison was in the process of inventing his well known invention-the incandescent lamp. The headache in this process is to find a suitable material that glows on heating. He was trying a lot of combinations to suite his need but in vain(it is a pity tungston was not popular in those days)our man is not going to give up.But his assistant was not as optimistic as Edison. One fine day he asked Edison with total loss of hope what on earth he was trying to do and how does he intend to find the right substance in this way.Edison replied “By checking these hundreds of compounds,i have eliminated the substances that does not glow.So i would soon be able to find the right substance in this way”.He does not mean what he literaly said. But this is an optimistic way of looking at things.Consider you have a glass containing some water. An optimistic person will be happy that it is half filled with water and a pessimistic person will be disappointed that it is half empty.Optimism is the only way of converting failure to success.
More of Edison and optimism stories to come later….

I am adding some of my  favorite paragraphs by Christian D. Larson which really helps in keep moving enthusiastically

“Promise Yourself

To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.

To think only the best,to work only for the best
and to expect only the best.
To forget the mistakes of the past
and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To give so much time to the improvement of yourself
that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear,
and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world,
not in loud words but great deeds.
To live in faith that the whole world is on your side
so long as you are true to the best that is in you.”

So we should always keep positive attitude in life and be optimistic. It not only helps in professional life but also enriches our personal life and motivates us to keep moving whatever be the situation.  Keep smiling…….
